Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
1 ½ cups Heavy whipping cream (chilled)

⅓ cup Powdered sugar (or powdered monk fruit / erythritol / allulose for a zero-net-carb version)

¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder (preferably Dutch-processed for a richer flavor)

1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

1 pinch Fine salt

Instructions
Prep the Bowl: Place a stainless steel or glass mixing bowl and your hand mixer beaters into the freezer for 10–15 minutes before starting. Cold equipment keeps the fat in the cream stable, yielding maximum volume and fluffiness.

Combine Ingredients: Pour the chilled heavy whipping cream into the cold bowl. Sift in the cocoa powder and powdered sweetener to avoid lumps, then add the vanilla extract and pinch of salt.

Start Slow: Gently stir the dry ingredients into the liquid with a spatula or whisk first (this prevents a powder cloud when you turn on the mixer).

Whip to Stiff Peaks: Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, start beating on low speed, then gradually increase to high speed. Whip for about 2 to 3 minutes until thick, velvety, stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip, or it will turn into chocolate butter!

Serve or Chill: Spoon or pipe into cups. Enjoy immediately for a softer, whipped texture, or refrigerate for 1 hour to set into a firm, ice-cream-like mousse.

💡 Tips for Perfection
Extra Richness: For an ultra-luxurious texture, fold in 2 oz of melted and cooled dark chocolate after whipping.

Toppings: Garnish with cocoa powder, sugar-free chocolate shavings, or a dollop of whipped cream.
