The Golden Glow Tonic (Turmeric & Ginger)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water (filtered)
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 inch Fresh turmeric root, thinly sliced (or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  • A tiny pinch Black pepper (essential for absorbing the curcumin in turmeric!)
  • Optional: A few drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit to sweeten

​Instructions

  1. Simmer: Bring the water, sliced ginger, and turmeric to a gentle boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes to extract all the flavors.
  2. Strain & Season: Strain the liquid into a mug or jar. Stir in the fresh lemon juice and a tiny pinch of black pepper.
  3. Serve: Enjoy it warm as a soothing tea, or let it cool and pour it over ice for a refreshing iced tonic.

​Recipe 2: Tart Hibiscus Ginger Flush

​Deep red, naturally tart, and incredibly refreshing, hibiscus pairs beautifully with the sharp kick of ginger.

​Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Dried hibiscus flowers (or 2 hibiscus tea bags)
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger root, sliced or grated
  • 1/2 Lime, juiced
  • Optional: Ice and your favorite keto-friendly sweetener to taste

​Instructions

  1. Infuse: Bring water and ginger to a boil. Remove from heat, add the hibiscus flowers, and cover. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Chill: Strain out the hibiscus and ginger. Allow the liquid to cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
  3. Serve: Pour over plenty of ice. It’s a gorgeous, vibrant drink that looks amazing in photos!

​ Recipe 3: Spicy Citrus ACV Elixir

​Apple cider vinegar (ACV) combined with citrus and a dash of cayenne gives a perfect, tangy morning wake-up call.

​Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Cold or warm water
  • 1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar (with "the mother")
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp Ground ginger
  • A pinch Cayenne pepper
  • Optional: Ice

​Instructions

  1. Mix: Combine all ingredients in a glass or shaker.
  2. Blend: Stir or shake vigorously until the ground ginger is well incorporated.
  3. Serve: Drink it first thing in the morning to kickstart your day.
