Prep time: 5 minutes | Servings: 1 large loader cup (like the photo)

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle (approx. 10–12 oz) Clear unflavored protein drink (or 1 scoop of unflavored clear whey isolate dissolved in 12 oz of water)

  • ½ cup Cucumber, peeled and chopped

  • 1 tbsp Fresh lemon or lime juice

  • ½ inch Fresh ginger root, peeled and minced

  • 4–5 leaves Fresh mint

  • 2 tbsp Sugar-free pineapple syrup (such as Torani, Jordan's Skinny Syrups, or a few drops of pineapple water enhancer)

  • A mountain of crushed ice

Instructions

  1. Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the chopped cucumber, minced ginger, lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar-free pineapple syrup, and the clear unflavored protein drink.

  2. Liquify: Blend on high for 45 to 60 seconds until the cucumber and ginger are completely liquified and the drink turns a beautiful, vibrant light green.

  3. Strain (Optional): If you prefer a completely smooth, juice-like texture without any pulp, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a measuring cup.

  4. Assemble with Ice: Fill a large glass or cup to the brim with crushed ice (pebble ice works best!). Pour your blended tropical green mixture over the top.

  5. Garnish: Top with an extra sprig of fresh mint or a slice of lemon, find a straw, and enjoy!

Why This Mix Works

  • The Protein: Using an unflavored clear whey protein drink gives you around 20–25 grams of pure protein without changing the texture to a thick, milky shake. It stays light, crisp, and incredibly clear.

  • The Flavor: The combination of fresh ginger and mint completely cuts through the earthy notes of the cucumber, while the sugar-free pineapple syrup provides that sweet, tropical finish with exactly 0 grams of sugar.
