Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Bring salted water to a boil.

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.

  • Drain and set aside.


2. Cook the Sausage

  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add sliced smoked sausage and cook until browned and slightly crispy on the edges.

  • Remove and set aside.


3. Sauté the Vegetables

  • In the same pan, add a little butter if needed.

  • Cook onion and bell pepper until softened.

  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.


4. Make the Cajun Alfredo Sauce

  • Add butter to the pan and let melt.

  • Pour in heavy cream and milk.

  • Stir in Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes.

  • Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.


5. Combine

  • Return the sausage to the pan.

  • Add cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.

  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.


 Serve

Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve hot with garlic bread or a simple green salad.
